it’s ok to be sad and anxious

We need to stop labeling our sadness and anxiety as uncomfortable symptoms, and to appreciate them as a healthy, adaptive part of our biology.

  1. sadness and anxiety are not ok if you cannot overcome it. my theory is if you accept them as a normal part of your life (just like friends who may do awful things and politicians who are selfish), it would help you deal with them better. i am not anxious about my anxiety, nor sad about my sadness. i just accept them.
